cybermgk Posted February 17, 2022 at 03:55 PM Posted February 17, 2022 at 03:55 PM Bill basically makes CCL near useless in Cook County.

Lou Posted February 17, 2022 at 04:33 PM Posted February 17, 2022 at 04:33 PM It is interesting to see that the ISRAs Rep Ed Sullivan voted in opposition to this bill an will testify in committee.
ILgunguy Posted February 17, 2022 at 05:08 PM Posted February 17, 2022 at 05:08 PM Just a point of clarity -- is this for Cook County or ALL county forest preserves and rec type places listed in the bill? Doesn't change the fact that I detest what it is saying, just wondering how you all are reading it. I already filed my slips.

The amendment appears to limit things to Cook County preserves, but the ant-gun folks and thus the sponsor are sneaky so I'm not committing to that too strongly..

It'd be great if someone (say during a committee hearing) got them to clarify that on the record.
