I agree. He’s absolutely a sociopath. Most people in positions of that much power are. Same goes for all his loyal stooge cronies. No empathy, remorse, fear, guilt, etc….  Control  is the only thing that makes him feel good.

@ragsboThere is growing interest for overturning immunity nationwide.   People are just fed up with the all out disregard for the constitution and their oath of office

I've made the same argument about the pension crisis, which actually dates back to 1917. Around 2010 the state required local pension fund members to attend 32 hour classes on finance and made us fiduciaries that were personally liable for the results of our decisions... but the state, county and local officials that actually set the tax levies and authorize the transfer of funds are required exactly 0 hours of training. and can vote in favor of 3-5 having a positive result without fear of legal repercussions.

FWIW....  One question I've had since Pritzker's statement about removing those who don't enforce the law is he can legally do it.

Florida Governor does have authority to remove elected officials.

http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0100-0199/0112/Sections/0112.51.html#:~:text=(1) By executive order stating, inability to perform official duties.

112.51 Municipal officers; suspension; removal from office.—
(1) By executive order stating the grounds for the suspension and filed with the Secretary of State, the Governor may suspend from office any elected or appointed municipal official for malfeasance, misfeasance, neglect of duty, habitual drunkenness, incompetence, or permanent inability to perform official duties.

Illinois Governor may or may not.  I suspect maybe not as I can only find where he can remove those who are appointed by the Governor.  I believe that County "States" Attorneys do have most of their salary paid by the state (to the county); but they are not appointed by the Governor.

https://www.ilga.gov/commission/lrb/con5.htm#:~:text=GOVERNOR - REMOVALS The Governor may,SECTION 11.

SECTION 10. GOVERNOR - REMOVALS
The Governor may remove for incompetence, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office any officer who may be appointed by the Governor.
(Source: Illinois Constitution)

That said, he could potentially halt the state funding to a county not enforcing the law; but I think that would be very complicated and result in lots of legal action.

May be they should be concerned about Illinoisans cold in there residences due to their socialist tenets.

Northern Illinois is fine, even in a severe winter. Nuclear power FTW. Central and Southern Illinois had all their coal plants shut down with either no replacements, or intermittent replacements that don’t work at night. But they don’t vote blue, so screw them. That’s the Democrat thinking.

I, for one, cannot wait until fatboy’s lawyers appear before the Illinois Supreme Court (if it goes THAT far) to try to defend this garbage legislation.  How will they even try?  Once this fat azz loses in court, the Justices ought to sanction his lawyers, Willis, Harmon, and fat azz himself for deprivation of Constitutional rights under color of law.  Haven’t the idiots even considered how they’re going to answer about the illegal aliens and their sanctuary cities flouting federal law?  I cannot stand his smug attitude and appearance.  He has a date with the Justices that he won’t like.  Maybe federal prison will be his next residence.

Pritzker wants to run for President, against slow Joe. Although slow Joe's party might remove him very soon.

He is trying to show that he is just as, if not more, progressive as slow Joe to impress the "Party". Kinda the communist party and Ping.

With the AWB ban, he will show everyone he "got it done", excluding all the law suits of course, which he more than likely looses and badly. Slow Joe wants to do it at the federal level.

Look at Pritzker's electric power stance, go with wind farms, solar panels, and damn the nuclear and other sources, ultimately we the peasants loose out.

Sound familiar on a national level?

No cash bail bill, gotta be one of the cool kids to see it fail, and yep they had to rewrite portions of it because it was sooooo bad.

Raise taxes, Pritzker tried to, but enough Illinoisans were not stoned enough to pass it.

Illinois out of control spending, federal out of control spending. See a difference, there isn't.

Illegals overwhelming the border, Illinois puts them in hotels and moves them to cities other than Chicago without notifying anyone.

See the similarities?

Why and how?

No accountability.

No personal skin in the game.

No reliable check or balance to the Illinois system.

If you brought your rich Uncle to stay with you, how long do you think he could handle your meager surroundings and lifestyle? A weekend?

Pritzger isn't family, he has no authentic connection or relatability to the common blue collar wage earning citizen. In other words, he doesn't care about you.

One night in your spare bedroom and he would be gone before the morning coffee.

Just as a side thought, how many Governors have resided in the Governor's mansion in Springfield in recent history. Not overnighters while down from Chicago, but for the length of their term? That area of Springfield is run down and just a little risky to be out at night.

Very few of these people run for office to serve the public anymore. When they are considering the possibility, it is based on donors, pacs and the blessing of the powerbrokers and king makers. What does any of that have to do with you?

He does what he does and does it with your money, lawyers, clerks, staff and and a congress you pay for.

If you have ever lived in an HOA, think of JB as the developer who lives there in the nicest house, using your dues and fees to tell you how he thinks you should be keeping your property.

Notice how these hypocrite, communist centralists conveniently become states' righters when it suits their agenda?  Demonrats are all about power -- THEIR power, and nothing else.

War it is if they go this route.  Perhaps then the sheriffs can go this route too (to those viewing, county sheriffs in IL can deputize anyone they want to “keep the peace”. Keeping the peace also includes protecting against illegal/unconstitutional laws and orders, so be careful what you wish for):

Are you able to walk/move around and carry a gun and aren’t a felon or prohibited person? Congrats, you’re part of the state militia, section 1

Further, the gun ban and restricting magazine size seems to conflict with section 3, as they are criminalizing/outlawing future purchases of mags (more than 10 for rifles, 15 for pistols). I mean, unless the state wants to go full on Switzerland and give us (all able bodied people not exempt by law) full auto M4’s and mags/ammo.....
