The development will give President Trump the opportunity to name her replacement, and Senate Republicans have promised to try to fill the vacancy even in the waning days of his first term. The confirmation battle, in the midst of a pandemic and a presidential election, is sure to be titanic. ...
steveTA84 Posted September 18, 2020 at 11:52 PM Posted September 18, 2020 at 11:52 PM RIP. Didnt agree with her, but she was one tough old lady

Mr. Fife Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:11 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:11 AM Too early, let's give time to mourn. Thoughts and prayers. She was tough working for that long while suffering from cancer. I would wish it on my worst enemy.
Ranger Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:16 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:16 AM She was certainly tough.
BobPistol Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:24 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:24 AM Will they manage to replace her with a good judge prior to January? Probably not.
Rangerdeepv Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:24 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:24 AM Tough old bird but she will bot be missed that much.

steveTA84 Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:35 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:35 AM Lefty mouthpieces are already saying her dying wish was for the next president to pick her replacement. Yeah, I’m sure that what she said moments before her death.........Pathetic.
GTX63 Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:40 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:40 AM I thought her last words were "Rosebud."
rmart Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:45 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:45 AM Nightmare scenario, senate flips, dems keep the house, election results are contested, Nancy become interim president and they slam through the most liberal anti-gun justice willing to take the job...
markthesignguy Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:47 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:47 AM I can't work up a lot of sympathy - there were rights given away that were not in her legitimate power to give. Or in other words - "the bleeding finally stopped". and If you THOUGHT the Leftist protests/rioters WERE bad up til now, you ain't SEEN nothing yet. They are going to go absolutely NUTZ!!!!
THE KING Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:56 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:56 AM My condolences go out to the family. My congratulations to the CONSTITUTION.
Flynn Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:59 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 12:59 AM RIP, I said before and I'll say it again, she should have retired years ago and enjoyed retirement. Nightmare scenario, senate flips, dems keep the house, election results are contested, Nancy become interim president and they slam through the most liberal anti-gun justice willing to take the job... If something like that was to happen there is enough time after the election and before the new rounds of elected officials take office to replace her, sure there will be a TON of complaining and probably lawsuits but there is nothing legally or Constitutinally stopping Trump and the GOP Senate from replacing her in the period between election day and inauguration. BTW my social media feed is on fire, the Liberals are in full on panic mode, it's as if they are not confident in their nomination/candidate
Sweeper13 Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:10 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:10 AM RIP..... Trump will have fun with this soon enough. Im sure he's getting his Twitter fingers ready. Leftist heads are going to be exploding. Make sure you are wearing goggles and face mask. Interesting how she never stepped down when they wanted her to.
steveTA84 Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:14 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:14 AM McConnell will hold the vote if Trump appoints https://twitter.com/senatemajldr/status/1307121192516628480?s=20
2A4Cook Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:14 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:14 AM Doesn't matter: Collins and Murkowski value their own Senate seats more than they do the safety, security, prosperity and future of our country. And Romney is still pouting because Trump won and he didn't. As always, the Dems win, even when the choice isn't theirs.
Sweeper13 Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:16 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:16 AM BLM and Antifa will be at the RINOs houses demanding they vote against it. Romney and company will bow down.

Sweeper13 Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:19 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:19 AM Here we go... soundguy Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:20 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:20 AM Nightmare scenario, senate flips, dems keep the house, election results are contested, Nancy become interim president and they slam through the most liberal anti-gun justice willing to take the job... McConnell has already thrown down the gauntlet and will go forward with confirmation hearings if Trump nominates a Justice. How about this nightmare... Biden winsSenate flipsHouse stays the sameTrump gets his lame duck Justice appointed Congress adds 2 or more seats to the court, probably 4 just for extra padding, and Biden appoints more SCOTUS Justices than Trump did.

Ranger Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:26 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:26 AM Murkowski, romney, collins... is there a fourth? Hopefully not.
Druid Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:32 AM Posted September 19, 2020 at 01:32 AM Too bad she never retired and got to take some time off. Now Republicans - PLEASE FILL THIS SEAT WITH A CONSERVATIVE! If Trump loses this next election, this will help us over those 4 years.
