main story is that ISP will come to Chi to serve warrants.

 

but there is this interesting tidbit at the end:

 

 


After Wednesday’s meeting at Kennedy-King, McCarthy also disclosed that one of the men shot this week at a North Side nightclub had one of the state’s new concealed-carry permits and that the gun is now gone.

“We’re trying to determine, is this a case where that gun was taken from him when that shooting occurred?” he said.

“This is what I said from Day One: More guns is not the solution to gun violence. That’s akin to saying everybody should drive drunk to stop drunken driving. It doesn’t work that way.”

 

Yep - and seatbelts are only there for when you crash, so no need to wear them unless you plan on crashing

So is he saying that the guy had a permit but no gun on him? In a nightclub? Isn't he SUPPOSED to leave his gun behind when in a nightclub?

 

yip sounds like he may have followed a law that ultimately may have gotten him killed

Proof positive that Rahm and McCarthy are helpless, incompetent and clueless when it comes to preventing crime.

 

More federal agents to quell the violence? Check.

 

State police to help quell the violence? Check.

 

Guess what the next step is if that doesn't work...

 

 

The effort will be quarterbacked by State Police Colonel and chief of operations Michael Zerbonia. He's a brigadier general in the Il. National Guard with more than 30 years of military expertise, including service in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I just posted in a different section about this yesterday..Mccarthy is so busy blaming the guns, but jnot the guys they catch with illegal guns that they let off with no jail time, despite being ON PAROLE for the same thing when they get caught for a second time (the whole "Lil Durk" thing). they have their priorities so backwards. "Let the criminals with documented gang ties walk free on 2 gun charges, but go after the legal CCW holders and legally owned guns!"

More guns aren't the solution? What are more cops but more guns? McCarthy is just either a puppet, or an idiot. Either is dangerous. Why is it no other state has these problems when they've been more lax on carry than here?

Because of the Chicago ordinance, there is NO carry in ANY establishment with a liquor license,

 

thus UNLESS an empty holster is found, this victim was unarmed, and McCarthy is just a total grandstanding liar.

 

He HAD to spin that one FAST, to turn the FCCL holder from a victim illustrating the idiocy of no-carry zones, to a possible enabler of the tragedy.

 

THUS, until proven innocent, ANY FCCL holder victim will be smeared.

Worst analogy in history. His own plan even contradicts it as it includes bringing more guns (ISP guns) into the city.

This is 100% McStreetlights the Lap Dog spinning an instance of a CCW holder following the carry ban law and getting killed as a result to make it look like the licensee had his gun taken away by a criminal. So, yet another Rahm and McStreetlights failure turns into "more guns = more deaths" and "most CCW holders have their guns used against them or taken away and used to spread mayyyhemmm!!"

 

I can't stand Rahmfuhrer and McStreetlights, both of them are baldfaced liars.

When I disarm I lock up my gun but leave the holster attached to my belt. So if my holster is empty I did not bring my gun in. This is also the case 9 out of 10 times when I leave my gun at home.

I think it's possible to be both a puppet snd an idiot at the same time .

Even with an empty holster he was likely unarmed and left his gun in his car, as he should have.

 

I wouldn't remove the holster under those circumstances, either.

They re-shot the story with her standing in front of the sign. This morning, you could clearly see it over her shoulder. You can kinda see the sign in the footage still...

Another reason not to go to a GFZ

Another reason not to go to a place where people who listen to violent music patronize. I just searched "Young Jeezy" on youtube, his songs are about crime, drugs, misogyny....you know, the standard urban Hip-Hop.

This happened at nearly 4am in the morning....on a MONDAY NIGHT. Anybody with a decent job is NOT going to be staying out in this type of place on a Monday night until 4am. If you work at the club...that's different, but still stupid. With the history of this place and the people it attracts, ALL of those people placed themselves in harms way. Whenever you mix alcohol, ego, and criminals, you have the perfect recipe for violence. McStreetlight and the Tiny Dancer should be ashamed at blaming a law that allows LAW-ABIDING citizens the ability to protect themselves. Any respect I might of had for their offices has been lost.

... and wanting more laws. In his eyes, the ones we have now don't work.

They should try not pleading everything out. I guess a good conviction rate is more important then the safety of the people. I mean children.

I just read the article again and I am not sure if it was a conscious decision, but Rahm gets 1 point from me for saying Gang Violence.

The other three clowns still want to say gun violence, as if the guns were capable of violence all on their own and even worse, that other acts of violence don't matter.

Much like the fact that the E2 nightclub disaster happened on a Monday morning - a workday - was completely ignored...
