We spoke of a self important feeling of empowerment to impose one's will on others. And we spoke of the misguided beliefs that one's own will is superior to the Constitution that enshrines our rights in law, the Supreme Court that protects those rights, the very rights themselves that were imparted to each of us by our Creator. Yes, we spoke then and speak now of Representative Willis' HB2254 Safe Gun Storage, a bill that in legal terms requires firearms in storage to be rendered inaccessible or unusable. Beyond that, it is a bill that demonstrates the feeling of superiority held by those who support it – superiority over us, superiority over the Constitution and those who protect it, superiority over the act of creation that gave us our rights. This bill has been rescheduled to February 25, potentially to be heard on that date. Join us in again opposing this violation of our rights by filing witness slips as linked below.
