I read it’s until 7 April. 2 1/2 weeks.

 

It's kinda like when everyone goes on vacation for the same two August weeks in France... Except for the damp spring weather. It's a great time to get all that stuff done that never gets done. Even it that means binging on "Leave It To Beaver".

Pretty sure they are considered nonessential and will be closed. Businesses will be easier to enforce fines and penalties on than individuals.

Don;t have the actual order yet but the snippet I have seen shows most retail businesses will be exempt - hardware stores, plumbing, etc. is considered essential. Electronic, household appliances, persona hygiene products, etc.

FYI, today while leaving work (big phone company) I was given two documents from DHS. One identifies me as someone keeping the communications networks working, the other specifies that in case of rationing, I am authorized to purchase fuel for my vehicle.

California and New York have been more like Soviet Russia for quite some time. Anyone notice it's only states that are 100% controlled by leftist Democrats who have put in place these authoritarian "huge government" edicts? Those who think that the "elite" are better than the "common man" and freedom isn't actually important? Freedom is far more important than some virus. If I get the virus and die, that's on me, but it's my decision on what I do, not the big government's!!!

 

And the hysteria is the media's fault. I had the flu a few months ago. I felt awful for 2 days, kinda bad for 5-7 more, and then all was well. It was no big deal. For most people, the virus itself will be no big deal. But the government imposed destruction of the entire US Economy and the entire US way of life is far, far worse than the thing they're trying to cure. It is an excuse for those who love power to take even more power at the expense of every American.

 

 

By the way, I see that Gun Stores are not included as essential, but abortion centers are considered essential. This is a political move, as is everything JB and Illinois does.

If you read the actual EO.... theres very few jobs NOT considered essential.......... you cant get a tattoo, haircut, or go to the gym. Seems every other job known to man is considered essential according to the list.

You do not have the right to spread a disease with a higher percentage of severity and mortality than most. This is more lethal than the common flu.

If you look at section "n" of the order: EXECUTIVE ORDER IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 (COVID-19 EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 8) it states the following (note the last sentence)...
