captdan Posted September 23, 2019 at 02:07 PM Posted September 23, 2019 at 02:07 PM Collection of this data has been required under the UUW statute since 2012. Most dealers were not aware of this statute until recently when the ISP pointed it out to dealers. They have assured us they will now enforce said statute under the Illinois Dealer Licensing act. You will see this become widespread with the advent of Dealer Licensing in Illinois.Welcome to Illinois.

Smallbore Posted September 24, 2019 at 01:55 PM Posted September 24, 2019 at 01:55 PM Answering #4 can be fun. Time to see if bureaucrats have a sense of humor.
RS1 Posted September 25, 2019 at 02:22 AM Posted September 25, 2019 at 02:22 AM I always put "training and sport/recreation". And yes, my FFL has asked this for at least 3 years. They're very by-the-book.
