Wonder what it would cost to get to 100 percent ? ? ?

Let’s see, 70% cost us things like:

The ability to dine out at our leisure

The ability to come and go as we please

Any semblance of timeliness in processing FOID/CCL

Many, many small businesses across the state

A c-ton of additional public debt

And many many many other things

I certainly don’t wanna know what 100% would cost.....

Personally I think the legislature should be limited to no more than 15 days per year, and get paid a stipend not to exceed minimum wage. They should be required to work a normal job the rest of the year.

Kinda glad they are not doing anything, can’t hurt us when they are not finding new ways to tax the $/#@ out of us, trample our rights, figure out how to divert money to their cronies, etc. The typical crap they do.

Can you imagine what minimum wage would be if that were the case?? Not disagreeing, just saying...

They should be paid commission only, when they actually do something. Not the commissions that we never hear about.

Do that and they would create 1000s of bills to change a period into a new period and pass them by the 100s to claim how accomplished they were that session at passing bills. And sadly a vast majority of the public would remain clueless that they were doing that just like they remain clueless they don't do anything 90% of the time.

Thats just silly. Illinois pol's would never create a law to strictly benefit themselves.
