GLOCKED73 Posted July 3, 2019 at 01:19 PM Posted July 3, 2019 at 01:19 PM are you guys getting notifed via email from the website? or just logging in and checking the status of renewal?Checking the status online. The only email i received was the initial receipt of my application. i did not receive an expiration letter either. i went active this morning, 114 days with prints. this whole process is rather frustrating. so they renewed you with 6 days left of the 120 day maximum by law....

mata777 Posted July 3, 2019 at 07:01 PM Posted July 3, 2019 at 07:01 PM Renewal training completed - Dec 2018CCL expires - April 9 2019Renewal submitted - March 12 2019Not concerned about carrying on my expired card, my Utah card will cover my limited trips to Indiana. Still under review, no prints (as expected).Day 83 of free carry, take your sweet time ISP bureaucrats.Shouldn't all carry be free?If it were up to me carry would be free, also suppressors and full auto would be legal. Unfortunately I don’t make the rules, I only follow them in order to stay out of jail.

2A4Cook Posted July 5, 2019 at 11:59 AM Posted July 5, 2019 at 11:59 AM Applied 1/31/2019 No prints. Expired 5/9/2019 ...153 days, went active this morning 7/3/2019 I was going for a record.Congrats! That wait was beyond belief. It's incredible that in this country citizens constitutional rights are stomped on with a Bolshevik Red Army boot, but one can hop our border illegally and get a drivers license cheaply and expeditiously. Cars kill far more people than guns do!

bigbob Posted July 5, 2019 at 07:54 PM Posted July 5, 2019 at 07:54 PM The dashboard showed rejected the beginning of April because of address, I have lived in the same apt at the same address for 33 yrs. Opening up the dashboard showed a apt space that was blank, everything was correct on the dashboard but apt wasn't checked apt 2. My DL doesn't have apt 2 or my original Concealed Carry Licence either. After checking the box with apt 2 the dashboard went back to under review and has been that way since April. I just contacted my state to hopefully help me.

mikescooling Posted July 5, 2019 at 08:53 PM Posted July 5, 2019 at 08:53 PM I did not give prints, old ccl termed 4-3-19. I applied one month before the ccl termed 3-3-19. The 4 month marker was 7-3-19 and using the Inspect element trick, I was under review up to 7-2-19, then VQ verified for 48hrs, then active today. But without the trick it still reads Under Review.
mikescooling Posted July 5, 2019 at 10:20 PM Posted July 5, 2019 at 10:20 PM My Bad, when you do the inspect element trick it now reads approved, not active as stated above. Oops

I understand what you are saying Molly but the time SHOULD BE from the time they took the funds to renew. Waiting over the full 120 days to reject for BS reasons and then restarting the clock simply should not be acceptable. They need to perform QA on the application much sooner than that.
Gunner442 Posted July 5, 2019 at 11:52 PM Posted July 5, 2019 at 11:52 PM My card was in the mail today three days after going active. Now my foid card # does not match the new number they issued so the wait starts all over again.

I am not looking forward to renewing my foid in three years. by then we might have to have a doctors permission slip as well as half a dozen character references at the rate this State is going.

Have others experience the same thing? so If I am understanding this right, Illinois is now renewing the FOID card at the time of the CCL card?I believe only for people with a CCL before mid 2015 when they changed the numbering system. Those renewals are getting new FOIDS with matching numbers.

Nope, as I understand it, they are re-issuing FOIDs with matching numbers to those who don’t already have them. No renewal. New ones have same expiration as the old ones.
