DomG Posted March 1, 2019 at 01:45 AM Posted March 1, 2019 at 01:45 AM Somewhat on topic. I also renewed my Arizona CWP. From dropping the renewal form in the mail to receiving my new card was a grand total of 10 days.
danbrew Posted March 1, 2019 at 02:13 AM Posted March 1, 2019 at 02:13 AM Interestingly, my application number for renewal is the same number that I was for the initial permit - 0000192. Instructor and did fingerprints.Expired 2/27/19Applied for renewal on 2/5/19Just checked and it says "Under Review", with the meta data (inspect element) saying "Submitted". So, we'll see.
Incog Posted March 1, 2019 at 07:40 PM Posted March 1, 2019 at 07:40 PM Reapplied 12/20/18Went QC Verified around 2/14/19 Still not Active. Very frustrating. CCL expires today . . .70 days and counting.Anyone else in same boat?Yep Update:Checked today and now "ACTIVE" Expect it will be another 7-10 days before the new card arrives. Will let you all know when that happens.
John Q Public Posted March 1, 2019 at 07:51 PM Posted March 1, 2019 at 07:51 PM I did my renewal and got my new card on the day after my old one expired. I lost about 7 days, which was the time to get it in the mail after it went active. Hows that for timing? So to sum up Renewed 12/17Expired 2/28Active 2/22Received 03/01____________ Perfect The bottom line is as of 2 months ago processing was taking about 2 months.

mck024 Posted March 2, 2019 at 09:14 PM Posted March 2, 2019 at 09:14 PM Somewhat on topic. I also renewed my Arizona CWP. From dropping the renewal form in the mail to receiving my new card was a grand total of 10 days.Same with me, 10 days for my AZ permit. And I get a full 5 years from my 4/18/19 expiration date. It's crazy that a state I don't even reside in can take 10 days to issue their permit, but IL takes over 2 months. Maddening.
blom Posted March 3, 2019 at 09:39 AM Posted March 3, 2019 at 09:39 AM Applied 12-12 prior printsActive 2-1Received new Foid with matching numbers 3-2 . Same expiration as old card
MicahDog Posted March 4, 2019 at 01:43 AM Posted March 4, 2019 at 01:43 AM Hi, I am wondering if someone can give me a little advice on what to do. I am currently at 90 days (12/3/2018 12 am for renewal) And still on Under Review My Inspect Element says QC_Approved, Submitted. Any ideas? I have sent emails and called with no responses. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I did electronic prints from when I first applied for my CCL in 2014. It should still be on file right? Just frustrating that there is no one to talk to about what is happening.

However there is no penalty for them to exceed that. They will tell you they are shorthanded...or rather they wont tell you since they dont answer the phone nor return emails. As long as you submitted before expiration your current card is good.
MicahDog Posted March 4, 2019 at 02:13 AM Posted March 4, 2019 at 02:13 AM Ok, thank you again for all of your help with this. Btw I renewed my Utah CCL for I believe $25 and it took them 5 - 7 days to get me a new card.

Btw I renewed my Utah CCL for I believe $25 and it took them 5 - 7 days to get me a new card. I'd try to be patient although I know its frustrating and I may have a different opinion when I get to that point. There is always talking to your state rep and/or senator which may or may not be helpful depending on their 2A position. And theres always Molly.
DonP Posted March 4, 2019 at 02:36 AM Posted March 4, 2019 at 02:36 AM Expires 2/28/2019, Thursday Applied for renewal 12/18, prints on file, instructor Still "Under Review" as of 2/26Who says "whining" online doesn't work? Finally went "Active" this afternoon 2/26 and my CC permit number now matches my FOID number. No e-mail or other notification received. New card received 3/2/2019 number matches FOID card now. That's cuttin' it pretty close, but I'm good for another 5 years now.
jkdkaliman101 Posted March 4, 2019 at 09:53 PM Posted March 4, 2019 at 09:53 PM As of today 3/4, I'm at 71 days since reapplying(QC Verified). Prints submitted. Not holding my breath that I will be active before the 14th (When I expire)

2AFOREVER Posted March 7, 2019 at 03:18 AM Posted March 7, 2019 at 03:18 AM what does QC_VERIFIED mean?
InterestedBystander Posted March 7, 2019 at 03:42 AM Posted March 7, 2019 at 03:42 AM what does QC_VERIFIED mean?[/size]Quality Control_Verified. supposedly that all fields necessary were entered, in correct format, etc
2AFOREVER Posted March 8, 2019 at 04:03 AM Posted March 8, 2019 at 04:03 AM Expiration date of 2-28-2019. Instructor with fingerprints from the first time around. Applied on 1-2-2019. QC Verified 2-26-2019. Still waiting? Wondering whats taking so long. I've heard other instructors have been getting them in 32 and 35 days? Not that being an instructor means I'm special or means anything as far as getting approved any quicker. Any thoughts?

Ediddy Posted March 9, 2019 at 05:15 AM Posted March 9, 2019 at 05:15 AM I let my FOID expire this year even though I still have my CCL. I haven’t carried but last Sunday I saw that my application was approved but I still don’t have my card . Can I carry again because according to the state I’m completely legal?

Can I carry again because according to the state I’m completely legal? You let your FOID expire, or it expired while waiting for the renewal process? If the former, you're damn lucky they didn't revoke your CCL, because that's what's supposed to happen. Does your CCL still show as "active?"
