My license was in my mail today!

That is why your FOID didn't change, it already had 10 numbers. They must have changed sometime in 2015 and now when they issue the CCL, it will match the FOID. Anyone else that has the old 8 digit FOID will get a new one.

Mail just came, and still no new FOID card. Tomorrow will be day 14 since CCL went active on 4-6 and in hand on 4-11.

Update from the above post: I just called the ISP, and they told me my new FOID number/card went active on 4-11 and not 4-6 like the online portal said when my CCL went active on 4-6.. That's a 5 day gap between the two licenses. Anyway, he told me I should receive the new 10 digit FOID card any day now. If I don't receive it soon, a new print request can't be made until 5-11.

Shows status "Active" (as of 4-15-16), the 'Expiration Date' and the 'Number' on the ISP website. :clap:

Finally received my new 10 digit FOID card today. Maybe the phone call to the ISP made a difference, or it was just a coincidence . I called on 4-19, and the FOID card envelope is postmarked 4-19. From 12-31-15 CCL application (without prints) to both cards in hand took 112 days total.

Indeed! More like.. every day that passes and my card isn't here, are days wasted when renewal time comes. They should of made it a "activate your card online" type thing lol...

First thing, Hello I'm new to the forum!

Now on to my CCW, Class on 3/19/2016 and submitted the same day with prints.

Went active on 4/20/2016.

In my hands on 4/23/2016, It was like Christmas morning when I was a tot.

Went on a Home Depot walk, Wally World will be today!

So all in all not bad I never thought I would get my Illinois before my Florida.

I had an FCCL student let me know yesterday that he got his license. It was at about 6 weeks with prints.

It's pretty confusing how some of these take no time at all and others take forever. With or without prints.
