vezpa Posted July 22, 2012 at 07:01 PM Posted July 22, 2012 at 07:01 PM People enter treatment centers when they know they are about to go down, in an attempt to get a pass and say they were looking for help.

Iirc he had his hands in a lot of the deals that were made in this venture to say nothing of any federal money that might be involved in it. I don't know how his "mood" problem is coming along but my guess is he's talking to a lot of people who aren't helping it. Jackson's Peotone Problem
spec4 Posted July 22, 2012 at 08:48 PM Posted July 22, 2012 at 08:48 PM There is no question in my mind that JJJ is a criminal. All that needs to be done is to have a fed attorney with integrity pursue it.

Talonap Posted July 22, 2012 at 11:17 PM Posted July 22, 2012 at 11:17 PM Maybe he was caught in Chuck's Gun Shop?????
Buckfarrack Posted July 23, 2012 at 12:38 AM Author Posted July 23, 2012 at 12:38 AM Rut-Row,i didn't know about the mafia/Peotone deal.He might wind up serving time, but i doubt it will stop him from getting re-elected.So sad but true.

Milhouse86 Posted July 23, 2012 at 08:06 PM Posted July 23, 2012 at 08:06 PM What about Jesse? I did not do anything! O wait the other one.. So when does it stop being news that our leaders are crooks?
TFC Posted July 23, 2012 at 09:06 PM Posted July 23, 2012 at 09:06 PM The European Union? I don't follow.... One of the companies he's doing business with is under investigation for fraud. It's in ishmo's post. This one: http://www.wgntv.com/news/wgntv-jesse-jackson-jr-jacksons-peotone-problem-20120712,0,6100653.story
C0untZer0 Posted August 7, 2012 at 02:15 PM Posted August 7, 2012 at 02:15 PM More on Jesse Jackson Jr in the newspapers over the weekend. According to his wife he is "completely debilitated" by depression. the family imposed a news blackout to protect the congressman's well-being...That means, Jackson Jr. has yet to be informed that fundraiser Raghuveer Nayak has been arrested on 19 counts of fraud, Sandi told the paper. “He doesn’t know anything about the indictment.” Jackson's wife said I think the media gave him a pass at first, but they're not letting the issues drop now. It's a cornucopia of interesting news stories and I think the reporters are looking at the claim of depression as yet another story on the buffet.
Jeffrey Posted August 13, 2012 at 06:46 PM Posted August 13, 2012 at 06:46 PM Keep voting for these idiots Chicago. http://mobile.chicagotribune.com/p.p?m=b&a=rp&id=2559297&postId=2559297&postUserId=54&sessionToken=&catId=6957&curAbsIndex=0&resultsUrl=DID%3D6%26DFCL%3D1000%26DSB%3Drank%2523desc%26DBFQ%3DuserId%253A54%26DFC%3Dcat1%252Ccat2%252Ccat3%26DL.w%3D%26DL.d%3D10%26DQ%3DsectionId%253A6957%26DPS%3D0%26DPL%3D3
spec4 Posted August 13, 2012 at 07:04 PM Posted August 13, 2012 at 07:04 PM Well, it will be interesting to see if he steps down or not. If he stays on the ballot, he will win. I personally have little sympathy for the guy, another Chicago political hustler, made successful by his extortionist father.
Smittyp83 Posted August 13, 2012 at 07:39 PM Posted August 13, 2012 at 07:39 PM Is he going to lose his FOID card now?
firepiper Posted August 13, 2012 at 07:49 PM Posted August 13, 2012 at 07:49 PM Does JJJ have an FOID? If he's being treated inpatient for depression issues has he turned in his card and surrendered any weapons he might have?
lead thrower Posted August 13, 2012 at 11:12 PM Posted August 13, 2012 at 11:12 PM He WILLNOT step down. Yes he will be reelected.
C0untZer0 Posted August 21, 2012 at 12:48 PM Posted August 21, 2012 at 12:48 PM JJJ has a new diagnosis that goes beyond clinical depression, he's been diagnosed with Bi Polar II disorder: http://chicago.cbslo...polar-disorder/ Yep - a while ago he thought he was unstoppable, it looked like he was untouchable, he was in line to get a U.S. Senate seat, a media darling, so his affairs and shady dealings would never come to light or get any credibility, his career was on an upward trajectory - he was soaring... Then his affairs were exposed, procesutors had hard eveidence of corruption, were closing in and he was in line to do jail time, the fickle media started hounding him and his happiness evaporated - his mood plunged like a lead sinker... That's political bi-polarism .
C0untZer0 Posted August 21, 2012 at 12:58 PM Posted August 21, 2012 at 12:58 PM I know that Lisa Madigan was eager to expose the identity of all FOID card holders, I'd think she'd be interested if Jesse Jackson Junior is a FOID card holder so she could urge him to turn his FOID card in and get rid of the guns that are under his personal control. If he woun't do it then she could appeal to those around to secure he weapons so he doesn't have access to them. On the other hand - what a gaffe it would be if the Reverend Jesse Jackson's son did something stupid with a gun... I think it would highlight the hypocrisy of the gun control elitists - they've all had guns and bodygaurds or both for decades while telling the general public that guns are no good, and need to be prohibited for the public good.

BadWaterBill Posted August 24, 2012 at 03:26 AM Posted August 24, 2012 at 03:26 AM Going back to the late 60s Richard J and his pals were very busy blanketing the Peotone area with purchases or options to buy all of the farmland they could. All of the folks that were knocking on farmers doors that I personally knew have since passed on so no way to confirm how much land is still under their control A few rumors I have heard. JJJ will step down and his wife will take his place OR she will expose his infidelity (like father like son) and ruin his political career. JJJ will step down and his brother will take his place just as Jessie Senior wishes. Boy talk about corruption, even the Kennedys would not try to pull that type of cra--.

ishmo Posted October 12, 2012 at 09:31 PM Posted October 12, 2012 at 09:31 PM Gotta love the Jackson's, especially JJJ. Guess it's back to the Mayo Clinic to see if he can get rid of the case of federalitis he's got. I guess he shouldn't have pimped that Peotone Airport after all Spelling potentially new trouble for U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., federal investigators have launched a probe into the South Shore congressman’s finances — a completely new area of scrutiny, sources told the Chicago Sun-Times.The investigation — based in the Washington, D.C., FBI field office — is not related to the attempted sale of the U.S. Senate seat that figured in former Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s corruption conviction, but is focusing on “suspicious activity” involving the congressman’s finances related to his House seat and the possibility of inappropriate expenditures, sources said. The probe was active in the weeks prior to Jackson taking a leave from his U.S. House post on June 10, a leave his office ultimately attributed to his need for treatment for a bipolar disorder, the sources said.It was unclear whether the probe involved the congressman’s official House spending account or his campaign finance account. But one source said it was an account monitored by Congress. Feds probing ‘suspicious activity’ in Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.’s finances, sources
