I don't know how his "mood" problem is coming along but my guess is he's talking to a lot of people who aren't helping it.

Yes. I'm predicting that Chicago/Cook county will be sold out in order to get "shall issue".

they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles." — Jeff Cooper, The Art of the Rifle

According to his wife he is "completely debilitated" by depression.

I think the media gave him a pass at first, but they're not letting the issues drop now. It's a cornucopia of interesting news stories and I think the reporters are looking at the claim of depression as yet another story on the buffet.

If he's being treated inpatient for depression issues has he turned in his card and surrendered any weapons he might have?

Yep - a while ago he thought he was unstoppable, it looked like he was untouchable, he was in line to get a U.S. Senate seat, a media darling, so his affairs and shady dealings would never come to light or get any credibility, his career was on an upward trajectory - he was soaring...
Then his affairs were exposed, procesutors had hard eveidence of corruption, were closing in and he was in line to do jail time, the fickle media started hounding him and his happiness evaporated - his mood plunged like a lead sinker...
That's political bi-polarism

On the other hand - what a gaffe it would be if the Reverend Jesse Jackson's son did something stupid with a gun... I think it would highlight the hypocrisy of the gun control elitists - they've all had guns and bodygaurds or both for decades while telling the general public that guns are no good, and need to be prohibited for the public good.

All of the folks that were knocking on farmers doors that I personally knew have since passed on so no way to confirm how much land is still under their control
A few rumors I have heard. JJJ will step down and his wife will take his place OR she will expose his infidelity (like father like son) and ruin his political career.
JJJ will step down and his brother will take his place just as Jessie Senior wishes.
Boy talk about corruption, even the Kennedys would not try to pull that type of cra--.

The investigation — based in the Washington, D.C., FBI field office — is not related to the attempted sale of the U.S. Senate seat that figured in former Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s corruption conviction, but is focusing on “suspicious activity” involving the congressman’s finances related to his House seat and the possibility of inappropriate expenditures, sources said.
The probe was active in the weeks prior to Jackson taking a leave from his U.S. House post on June 10, a leave his office ultimately attributed to his need for treatment for a bipolar disorder, the sources said.
It was unclear whether the probe involved the congressman’s official House spending account or his campaign finance account. But one source said it was an account monitored by Congress.
