C0untZer0 Posted April 9, 2019 at 04:19 AM Posted April 9, 2019 at 04:19 AM Ya. I'm so glad the law provides for carrying as long as you've submitted before the deadline. They can drag a** on renewing my license for the next 10 years for all I care.
Scots Posted April 9, 2019 at 01:39 PM Posted April 9, 2019 at 01:39 PM Hi all, been off the board for a while, but I know we're all keeping up the good fight. My info is below. I was not aware of the free carry clause. Do I understand correctly that since I applied and paid for renewal before my expiration date, I am legally allowed to carry while it's under review? And if so, should I just print out the paper that shows I applied for renewal to keep in my wallet? My dates are: Applied renewal and paid: 2/25Expired: 2/28Still under review as of 4/9

My dates are: Applied renewal and paid: 2/25Expired: 2/28Still under review as of 4/9 Yes, your CCL is valid during the renewal process as long as you renewed before your expiration date, as you did, and you are eligible. No official documents needed to have on hand but others are carrying supporting documents / screen shots showing they renewed.

flw Posted April 10, 2019 at 10:39 PM Posted April 10, 2019 at 10:39 PM Where can I see that the State has stated that those that apply for renewal before expiration date can continue to carry after expiration date has come and gone? I just expired today 4/10 but renewal date was 1/4 Thanks
