Bubbacs Posted July 6, 2019 at 04:02 PM Posted July 6, 2019 at 04:02 PM Kind of strange but I noticed on the ISP site that I went "Active" on 7-3-19 and they also reissued my FOID card as well. I didn't ask or pay for that. I also noticed that the new FOID is only good for 3 years. What gives? All of this is posted in this thread, but needs to be read from the beginnings.CCL, FOID and what they actually when processing CCL’s since iirc June 2015.

Hawkeye Posted July 7, 2019 at 03:15 AM Posted July 7, 2019 at 03:15 AM Applied 2/14 without prints Expiration of old permit was 4/15 Approved 7/3 Quite a wait for something that should take minutes (and should never be allowed to happen in the first place vis a vis the 2nd amendment!)

Godspeed to all those waiting for their CCL.If it's a magic phone number, and it took 130 days, then it's not magic.we used to get them in 45 days and guys without prints in under 120 days as stated in the statute. but great job in getting it and welcome to the forums

It’s not a proper experiment, but I’m happy to have my license in hand in any case. Furthermore, it’s a sad state (pun intended) of affairs when folks feel they need magic phone numbers to be allowed to exercise their rights.
Grif054 Posted July 15, 2019 at 01:31 AM Posted July 15, 2019 at 01:31 AM Applied 2/18/2019 Active 07/03/2019 No prints. Received 07/10/2019
Tean0 Posted July 16, 2019 at 02:30 AM Posted July 16, 2019 at 02:30 AM CCL app was rejected due to DL address not matching what was submitted with the application. The only thing that was missing when prompted to resubmit was the APT 1 portion of the address. I had originally entered it when first applying however it did not reflect on the website. I was on day 127 with no prints. Anything I can do to fight it or am I stuck waiting 120 days again?

SILmama Posted July 20, 2019 at 04:12 PM Posted July 20, 2019 at 04:12 PM I smell a rat. Required fingerprints for FOID didn't pass. So let's just hold up everyone's CCL who did not provide prints. Day 139 since they charged my CC.
Patriots & Tyrants Posted July 24, 2019 at 07:17 PM Posted July 24, 2019 at 07:17 PM (edited) Renewal Applied 4/29 w/ prints "Active" 7/19 Still do not have it in hand Side note; they did NOT re-issue my FOID near as I can tell. It still expires next June. Edited July 24, 2019 at 07:18 PM by Patriots & Tyrants
Toolmaker8185 Posted August 4, 2019 at 07:44 AM Posted August 4, 2019 at 07:44 AM (edited) I applied for renewal on February 11th No prints. App was rejected on day 121 due to an instructor error on my 3hr certificate. Error was corrected the very next day. As of August 4th, I am on day 175 still under review. My instructor's error was that the curriculum number was missing a letter but he assured me that I wouldn't lose my place in line by more than a couple days. Obviously that was not correct. Fortunately as long as we're still under review our licences are still good. Edited August 4, 2019 at 07:51 AM by Toolmaker8185

So it sounds like 120 days just sitting in submitted queue until someone got to it. Sad and crazy.
Kg1982 Posted August 10, 2019 at 03:27 PM Posted August 10, 2019 at 03:27 PM I feel like a kid on Christmas morning finally got my ccl I applied 5/7 with prints was active 8/7 in hand 5 minutes ago
drjoe Posted August 15, 2019 at 03:38 AM Posted August 15, 2019 at 03:38 AM My license too! Hi, I just wanted to first say thanks for the information on this site, which is very helpful and to which I will continue training to be a prepared and responsible armed citizen. Secondly, to give you the time frame: 1. CCL Class Completed May 23, 20192. Live Scan Finger Prints and Photo May 24, 20193. Completed ISP online application May 24, 20194. Issued CCL August 7, 20195. Received CCL August 10, 2019 76 days or 51 weekdays I thought this was pretty reasonable being the ISP is understaffed and stressed with CCL and FOID renewals. Maybe fingerprints and a clean record helps.Be Safe.

Merlin&Mabel Posted October 25, 2019 at 02:45 PM Posted October 25, 2019 at 02:45 PM Submitted 7/26/19 with FingerprintsQC_Verified 10/17/19 (Day 83)Approved 10/21/19 (Day 87)Active 10/22/19 (Day 88)In hand from mailbox 5 minutes ago 10/25/19 (Day 91) Overall, not the longest or shortest wait. Pretty surprised the state stuck to the 90 day response time.
Rem870 Posted October 27, 2019 at 04:21 PM Posted October 27, 2019 at 04:21 PM Renewal finally went active after 8 months. Denied at 4 months to the day from renewal application due to the training certificate having the trainers ID number incorrect (pre-printed from trainer). Fixed and resubmitted and after another 4 months to the day it finally went active. I guess on the bright side I added 8 months to my ccl. Since it’s always takes exactly the allowed number of days, I believe they do it just because they can.
r.obb Posted October 31, 2019 at 02:12 AM Posted October 31, 2019 at 02:12 AM I applied on 9-5-19 for a replacement FOID and CCL due to them being destroyed. My dog ate my wallet. Any guesses on the wait time? I submitted prints with original submission.....
