  1. When I did my 3hr renewal class in the fall of 2019 my instructor submitted the copy of my certificate and there was one number that was off on the curriculum number. So the state waits until I'm at 121 days before they reject my application. There was a button for resubmitting the proper curriculum number which was done by my instructor less than 24 hours after my application was rejected. I finally went active at precisely 240 days and received my new license a few days later. Fortunately we are allowed to continue carrying on an expired license as long as the renewal process is started before the expiration date. I did not do prints in 2014 and received my original license after 97 days. I also didn't do prints in 2019 either. Unless they make prints mandatory I will not be doing them in the future as well. Brobinson65, I hope your situation is rectified soon and you get your license shortly.
  2. I applied for renewal on February 11th No prints. App was rejected on day 121 due to an instructor error on my 3hr certificate. Error was corrected the very next day. As of August 4th, I am on day 175 still under review. My instructor's error was that the curriculum number was missing a letter but he assured me that I wouldn't lose my place in line by more than a couple days. Obviously that was not correct. Fortunately as long as we're still under review our licences are still good.
  3. Hey guys, those of us who were issued our licenses last year, before they began issuing new FOIDs with corresponding numbers, what are they planning on doing with us, like just waiting until our FOIDs are due to be renewed ? anyone with information would be appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Dang, Jt...this is really weird ...so you're walking around with an invalid FOID in your pocket and you didn't even know it until the LGS ran it...how strange. I had heard some stories about FOID card changes but NOTHING like your story. I received my CCL last June and all they did was take the number from my FOID and add 14 to the beginning of it and my FOID never changed...at least to my knowledge it hasn't anyways. I haven't bought any guns since then only ammo but no problems though...does anyone know if we can purchase ammunition with just our CCL or must we always carry both ?
  5. Wow Bird, that IS taking a bit longer than the average ....there was one guy who went active and after 3 weeks still had no license so he called ISP and come to find out that they had activated him but had failed to send his card to the printer for processing and mailing....I'd consider giving them a call.....I received mine two days after going active ..
  6. Three weeks is less than thirty days...how are they being done quicker than that ?? Doesn't make sense......I applied without prints and it took 101 days total. If someone is getting their license in under the 30 day LEO objection period, that just doesn't jive.
  7. Applied 3-2 NO Prints Active 6-6 Received in mail 6-9 101 days total Thanks to All who have worked so hard to make this a reality.
  8. Does Anyone have any knowledge on what the quickest NO PRINT applications have been ?? It seems as if it's approximately 100 days plus or minus 5....but every average has a high and a low.
  9. It looks they have the system well in hand, 30 day approval. Can anyone remember the fastes no prints approval, not counting those back in February? How anyone can call this anything other than a "special expedition fee" is beyond my comprehension...and of course the only folks who disagree are those who paid the" fee".
