When the calendar comes up, go to the upper left corner and click on the year 2024. This will populate a screen that allows to roll back to your year of birth. Then scroll to your month and click on the day you want.

Even though I post the ILGA threads the night before, I always speak as if it's already the day in question - 4/18/2024 in this case. So when I say "Yesterday in the House...", those amendments were actually adopted today, 4/17/2024, but that will be yesterday from the Illinois General Assembly 4/18/2024 point of view. So IGOLD is today, from what will be tomorrow's perspective.

I just renewed my CCL this past March and was told on their website to continue to carry my old CCL, which the expiration date is 4/22/2024 even though my new expiration date is 5 years from then. They said that the ISP was not going to send any new updated cards. What could possibly go wrong with this policy?

I completed the renewal class and successfully submitted my CCL and the FOID renewal option button disappeared but I keep getting emails notifying me that my FOID expires in about 4 weeks. my portal says I’m 83 days out from CCL. i know my CCL is supposed to be controlling date but why do I keep getting these irritating emails but I can see a way to renew my FOID anyway. is this just more Illinois BS and dysfunction? F U jelly belly and commie rah ool.

The DUI was for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, correct? There is a one-year federal prohibition for possessing firearms. I'm not sure how that works with a deferred judgment probation though. It's possible the prohibition lasts for the duration of the probation. Also, what level of risk assessment did you receive? It's possible if you received a high-risk level assessment and the court order included mandatory counseling/treatment, then you would fall under that prohibitor as well. You will need to ask an attorney to look at your probabation.

Is it just me or are folks just getting stupider and stupider????? Common sense would say it would be very stupid to put on a mask and charge into a public place with something that looks like a gun and do an "assassination'". ESPECIALLY in a local that has concealed carry!
