Guys name is John Carroll and trying to determine if its the same one as the representative. Either way, heres the birth of SB1966. The Attorney Generals office was salivating over it right away http://i.imgur.com/3jocH4W.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3UweDvI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zABEsx2.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ovnalTg.jpg
mauserme Posted July 15, 2019 at 08:43 PM Posted July 15, 2019 at 08:43 PM The email address you posted looks like it's in the Attorney General's office rather than the House. Might be a different J Carroll. ETA His bio outlines a background in education.

Yes, sorry, I meant that Representative Jonathan Carroll's bio describes a background in education rather than law.

Molly B. Posted July 15, 2019 at 09:20 PM Posted July 15, 2019 at 09:20 PM Mr. Carrol and Caitlyn McEllis appear to be with the legislative affairs dept for the Attorney General. The ISP has one, as probably all the other state governmental agencies. They track legislation and report back to superiors, testify in committee, represent the position for the agency, etc.

It’ll make our job much easier when it comes to making criminals out of otherwise law abiding gun owners. Our brave Bloomberg moms are counting on us”

Tango7 Posted July 16, 2019 at 02:04 AM Posted July 16, 2019 at 02:04 AM I FOIA'd the correspondence between Madigan and the {D}'s relating to HB148 back in the day. Interestingly enough, while the "Sunshine Act" requires local government officials to regurgitate everything upon request, the pols - specifically a former {D} from Evanston - insisted that the legislature be exempted from the Act, because, you know, there's no way for them to be able to distinguish personal and government business. More "Do as we decree, not as we do" from {D}a Machine. I was told to pound sand.

And you didn't pounce on that opportunity to trash them publicly and/or take legal action?
