mauserme Posted June 16, 2021 at 05:27 PM Author Share Posted June 16, 2021 at 05:27 PM The Director answers that that can happen now. Ms. Mazzochi persists, asking why they want FFLs involved. Mr. Hoffman jumps in saying FFLs are not required to accept records. Mr. Kelly, perhaps actually addressing the question, is that it makes sure they can identify the last legal transfer. mauserme Posted June 16, 2021 at 05:29 PM Author Share Posted June 16, 2021 at 05:29 PM Kelly says the person transferring the gun can just say to check with this FFL for the record. He doesn't recognize that it requires additional record keeping on the part of he seller to know who has the records.

mauserme Posted June 16, 2021 at 05:34 PM Author Share Posted June 16, 2021 at 05:34 PM Representative Stoneback asks the Director if ISP does criminal background checks for other reasons. He answers that they do, for many professions including teacher, cannabis growers, etc.She asks if fingerprints are required, implying that employment is in some way akin to the exercise of a Constitutional right. There is actually no comparison except for those who don't understand the nature of human rights.Mr. Kelly fails to recognize the distinction as well.
