At least one intruder also had a gun and displayed it during the attack.The 11-year-old boy was knocked over during the attack and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.Two men, 61 and 41, were hit in the head and taken to Stroger Hospital. The 61-year-old was listed in serious condition, and the 41-year-old's condition was stabilized.Two 61-year-old women were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, one listed in good condition and the other's condition was stabilized.A 40-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl were also inside the home but were not injured, police said.The attackers left with $180 and cellphones, police said.No one was in custody. Bad guy came in through an unlocked glass sliding door, robbed the residents at gun point and then took off. They probably thought cause it's 8AM, crime doesn't start until sundown. There have been multiple cases of daytime home invasions even in the AWB supporting northern $uburb$, often through open garages and unlocked doors, because #crimedoesnthappenhere.
