McHenry was packed with 500 people.
However, they did spend a month getting the word out.

Hmm, anticipate the pent up demand and have that first meeting in a big place.

Do you have any ideas for a place? We would like to have this before IGOLD maybe Thursday March 4th. that gives us about 5 weeks to get it together

A VFW or American Legion Post will usually rent their facilities. (And they're 2A friendly!)

They aren't big enough

DuPage County Fairgrounds, where gun shows are held, but would probably be cost prohibitive.

Look, I quoted myself.
I called COD, they no longer allow inside space to non student/staff (even to an Alumni). I do not know about outside space, as I kept getting transferred to people who had no idea (I ended up at the IT help desk).
