AlphaKoncepts aka CGS Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:03 PM Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:03 PM Hey Rocco, let me know if you plan a Crso so I can block a Saturday for this class. Maybe in April???!!!
Bubbacs Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:11 PM Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:11 PM CRSO ? Just the curious mind type!
spanishjames Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:32 PM Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:32 PM CRSO ?Just the curious mind type!Certified?
BIGDEESUL Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:38 PM Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:38 PM CRSO= Cheif Range Safety Officer. Basically, a CRSO can certify others as RSO's. Basically an RSO instructor. Also certified by the NRA to write SOP's and oversee RSO's at the range. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Rockdiver Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:42 PM Author Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:42 PM I can do a CRSO (Chief Range Safety Officer) on one of the following weekends if there is enough interest.... would normally do it the same weekend as RSO but it would mean no cookies for me if I had class on Valentines Day.
Rockdiver Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:44 PM Author Posted January 16, 2016 at 04:44 PM CRSO ?Just the curious mind type!Certified? The CRSO has additional responsibilities and is Certified to write SOPs and policy for ranges. They are also able to train and Certify their own RSOs.
wtr100 Posted January 16, 2016 at 06:19 PM Posted January 16, 2016 at 06:19 PM Rocco teaches a good course. Couple things to know 1. if you can't perform you will not pass - no participation trophy here 2. If you are already an RSO and then take his CRSO course you will get hazed with extra practical exercise and he'll make them extra hard - mostly for his enjoyment and that of the of the rest of the class. In my first drill I had to keep him from shooting somebody in a bathroom - oh and the other students kept handing Rocco more guns - thanks guys, big help The second involved another student in drag and a heart attack Great class
Marie Posted January 16, 2016 at 08:14 PM Posted January 16, 2016 at 08:14 PM Count me in actually count me out I've got way too much going on the following two weekends.
Rockdiver Posted January 29, 2016 at 04:05 PM Author Posted January 29, 2016 at 04:05 PM Still have some openings in RSO if anyone is still waiting. Also have some extra goodies for all attendees.Let me know....Rocco
TRJ Posted January 29, 2016 at 04:29 PM Posted January 29, 2016 at 04:29 PM Is there any prerequisite?
Rockdiver Posted January 29, 2016 at 05:09 PM Author Posted January 29, 2016 at 05:09 PM Not for RSO. General firearms safety would be it. Having shot at several different ranges would help from a perspective standpoint.... Open mind is a must. Rocco
