Pro-2A gun safety:

  • Treat every gun as loaded until you have verified it is not.
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire.
  • Don't point the muzzle at anything you don't want to destroy.
  • Know your target and what's beyond it.
Anti-2A gun safety:

Only a world without guns is a safe world. It's for the children.

Whom should be aborted immediately cuz global warming.....

I always add that when a Demo says "it's for the children".

I just got back from Indiana yesterday from my nephew’s who is a state cop. He is a k-9 trainer for the police and helping me train my Shepard. We got to talking about Illinois gun requirements and the foid card. An officer who he works with was also there. When I brought up the foid card they both asked what the hey is that and I should them and explained it to them and the new laws that are trying to be passed. Anyway….. long story short is that is nuts.

Wow, more lies and propaganda as usual from the scum times. The civilian disarmament conspiracy is being called wise and compassionate. Southern Illinois is more awash in guns than Chicago but I don't hear of any shootings there. Red flag laws are confiscation schemes and not about suicide.

Illegal immigrant sanctuary is miserable for Chicago residents. Crime in Chicago is miserable for the rest of the state. Upholding the Constitution is patriotic not miserable. G-PAC is another Bloomberg front group advancing his civilian disarmament agenda. We are not fooled, it has nothing to do with safety.

So in thinking outside the box....LOL

Why not get someone with a higher level of understanding all things lawful/guns and invite this editorial wiz to ride along to Indiana and to purchase a firearm at a local store. Several are located right along US 30.

Have them show us how easy it is and be sure to record the full ride, GoPro maybe.

If they refuse to attempt, maybe write a rebuttal and state the refusal of the same.

Just a thought.

Actually they did.

Here's an article from the Tribune about gun grabbing Rep. Quigley, going to an Indiana Gun Show with some staff members to try and show how "easy" it was to buy a gun. (Hint: It wasn't easy and they found out right away.)

So I have a question concerning this statement: "Many of the guns that turn up at Chicago crime scenes originally were purchased legally in those states." Is this true? Can a person go over to those states and buy a gun?

Those numbers vary greatly depending on if the anti-gunner is trying to pass IL state legislation against law-abiding gun owners (dealer licensing bill) and if they are trying to pass federal laws restricting gun rights.

According to anti-gunners, somewhere around 80% of guns come from out of state when talking about federal bills

and about 60% of "illegal guns" come from in state when talking about dealer licensing.

We've got 140% more problems than even they realize.
