Billard Posted August 30, 2022 at 07:48 PM Posted August 30, 2022 at 07:48 PM Howdy all. I have no idea how to go about this. Long story short, I'm going down to Arizona for a short bit with my girlfriend to help her take care of a sick family member and I wanted to transfer my firearms to my Father until I got back. How can I do that? I looked online and it seemed a bit confusing. I'm not sure how long I will be gone but could I just leave them with him if anything? Thanks in advance

You're not transferring ownership. (Right?) You're transferring only custody and control, probably with the understanding that it's not for anyone's use. Even if it weren't your father or any other family member, there's no bureaucracy required. Since it actually is a close family member, there's really no bureaucracy required.
Jeffrey Posted August 30, 2022 at 08:03 PM Posted August 30, 2022 at 08:03 PM You might want to consider bringing some of them with you. Az is pretty 2A friendly.
