Illinois Concealed Carry, LLC. is now able to offer a "new CCW course." We are offering you the UTAH & ARIZONA CFP dual class combined in ONE classroom only session.

That's correct, NO range time required. As a non-resident, dual-permit holder, you will be able to conceal carry in 34 States. The difference between the two licenses is that UTAH is recognized in OH, MN, and WA, while ARIZONA is recognized in KS, NV & NM in addition to the shared states between the 2 permits.

Only two classes available for March, please pass the word and register ASAP.

Class 1: Saturday, March 16th @ Noon

Class 2: Wednesday, March 27 @ 6PM

Visit our website to register, or call 331-642-8110 / 630-926-8803 to register by phone

LAS VEGAS — Nevada officials say they're no longer recognizing concealed weapons permits from Arizona after the state relaxed some of its training requirements.

The decision takes effect this week, after a unanimous vote last Thursday from the Nevada Sheriffs' and Chiefs' association.

Association officials say Las Vegas firearm instructors first notified them about the changes in the training requirements.

Nevada Department of Public Safety officials say they contacted the Arizona Department of Public Safety and confirmed changes were made in 2010 and 2011.

Those include adjustments to the minimum training requirements, and the elimination of statutory marksmanship and judgmental shooting requirements.

Association officials say the requirements are now too different from Nevada's for the state to recognize the permits.

Arizona public safety officials didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

that's because to get AZ non-resident, range/live fire is no longer required at the moment. AZ CCW department is p***** about this, but the law is the law.

O'Fallon would be close enough."Bout an hour and 15 min.

I was thinking about the Az. permit.

Question....I already have Florida and Arizona....is Utah even worth getting? What can it get me that the other two can't?

You might not want to bother with Utah if you have those two already...

The only thing Utah will get you right now is MN and later the opportunity to renew in 5 yrs for $15.75 online ($15 to Utah + 0.75 online renewal convenience fee) vs FL or AZ renewal fees later on, whatever they happen to be at their respective renewals.

My understanding is that the AZ won't be recognized by FL & SC if you're not a resident of AZ - is that correct? If so, the AZ map is misleading.

I was hoping I was wrong, I'd like to get SC covered, but it's not easy to do as an Illinois resident.

Depending on my work schedule, I will try to make the 3/27 class. I have to save up my vacation days, but maybe I can come up with some life-threatening disease which forces me to have to take the day off!
