Molly B. Posted November 11, 2010 at 02:33 AM Share Posted November 11, 2010 at 02:33 AM IllinoisCarry continues to fight for the Right to Carry in Illinois and seeks to end infringements of our Constitutional Second Amendment rights through the electoral, legislative, and especially the judicial process. IllinoisCarry member Druid is a plaintiff in the ISRA's lawsuit against the Cook County "assault" weapons ban. FF and Mrs. FF were two of the four plaintiffs in the successful ISRA/SAF lawsuit against the city of Chicago handgun ban. The lead plaintiff, Otis McDonald, was introduced to the case by Molly B. Sigma was the plaintiff who filed the complaint against Gov. Quinn's attempt to put a referendum on the ballot to ban all semi-auto rifles, shotguns, and handguns in Illinois. IllinoisCarry has referred other individuals for potential lawsuits and will continue to do so as long as there is a need to continue the fight at the judicial level. We are very proud of the role IllinoisCarry members have played in fighting for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Thank you for your bravery, tenacity, and commitment in defending the Second Amendment.

bhannah Posted November 11, 2010 at 03:24 AM Share Posted November 11, 2010 at 03:24 AM That is AWESOME.. good work to all involved...you are indeed true patriots. But sorry I have to ask what is the goal of Illinois Carry to advance the right to carry in Illinois... and seeks to end infringementsof our Constitutional Second Amendment rights through the electoral, legislative, and especiallythe judicial process. Is this the new mission statement and if so are we stretching ourselves?

bhannah Posted November 11, 2010 at 03:41 AM Share Posted November 11, 2010 at 03:41 AM Well it is an awesome mission statement, I think it should be added to the front page.I have never seen the full statement. It might help avoid some confusion with some members that we are alone an advancement group.Just a suggestion..

Thank you for your bravery, tenacity, and commitment in defending the Second Amendment. Agree! I saw David Lawson recently post his real name under his Federal Farmer avatar and I thought it was fantastic and I sent him a PM private-mail about it. When Mrs. FF started posting, I thought that was fantastic too. I didn't grow up in a hunting or gun family and it was the women in my life that sparked my interest in safety, guns, defense, history, and hunting. (not much action on the last yet). It really is fantastic that we have members here who's names are now deeply important across centuries of American Constitutional history. And to Otis (+3) of course, what can we say but Thank you. And thanks too to Sigma. I'm a bit like the football fan who suddenly discovers his team when it is in the Superbowl after not watching any game before that, but oh well. A deep and grateful thanks to all the fighters on the front line.

Maybe its a good time to say thanks by looking at the subscriptions tab at the top and giving a few dollars to support those who work very hard for us. I just did...Will you?
