Both amendments have been assigned a hearing in the Senate Executive Committee at 11:00 AM The Executive Committee recommends adoption. Senate Amendment 7 to HB183 has been filed and approved by Assignments Senator Raoul withdraws Amendments 1, 3 and 4. Amendments 5, 6 an 7 are adopted an the bill moved to 3rd Reading. HB183 Passed the Senate 45/12/1 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Senate Amendment 1 (Creates the Gun Safety and Responsibility Act) to HB1189 Creates the Gun Safety and Responsibility Act has been filed in the Senate and adopted. SB1189 passed as amended 41/15/1 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Senate Amendment 1 (Magazine Ban) to HB1346 Magazine Ban[/color] was filed and adopted. HB1346 Fails 28/31/0 House Updates: House Amendment 2 to SB2335 Firearm Concealed Carry Act has been filed in the House. This is the sister bill to HB183. Rules recommends adoption of Amend 2 to SB2335. Despite high expectations yesterday we still do not have a concealed carry law, but we also do not have a magazine ban that threatened briefly. In addition to the bills included below we will watch for a lost or stolen type bill, perhaps using SB841 The House is scheduled for 9:30 AM and the Senate for 12:00 Noon...
