Today marks the scheduled end of the Spring Session. Despite high expectations yesterday we still do not have a concealed carry law, but we also do not have a magazine ban that threatened briefly.

In addition to the bills included below we will watch for a lost or stolen type bill, perhaps using SB841

The House is scheduled for 9:30 AM and the Senate for 12:00 Noon.

Do we full expect HB183 A5 to be the new CCW vehicle? I keep hitting F5 on the bill's text page.

I don't expect to survive the day if there's already ban hammer talk and I'm the only person besides Mauser here. Better pack my bags.

I'm headed to bed soon. Still nothing new on HB183.

Yeah I'm around too. Tomorrow should be fun. Newbs packing the site, talking trash about Rep Phelps and attacking any one of us for calling them out, FF will make 'em disappear. That is if I can even get on. Today was bad, tomorrow? Ugh.

By the way, I'm going to try to get out of here around 4 PM or so. I need to go have some fun with the family this weekend.

Hopefully I won't miss too much.

I have a feeling there will be someone willing to volunteer to keep an eye on things today...did I need to use purple for that?

Reporting in late.... Sorry... Stopped to read Todd's 2am thread......

I woke up for work at 2am and thought I'd just check in to see how things transpired after I had gone to bed. To my surprise Todd was still awake. Holy ... What a trooper. Things are going to get crazy today gentlemen. Lets keep our composure.

Composure...????? I think I lost that about three days back....

Long time coming to finally get here.

If, that is, we are finally "here"

Chicago's WGN just reported that the compromise keeps the Chicago ban on assault weapons

I'm limbering up the ban hammer arm...this prancersize really helps!

This prancersize stuff has really taken off.

Today is the day!

[purple]That might be fine by me, if they deferred on the definition of 'assault weapon' to that the military uses.[/purple]

I don't think I will end up being very productive at work today.

Nope I will have to agree with you there. Took the day off to go up to the Wisconsin Dells, and also helps me test carry my new taurus 1911 on the other side of the cheese curtain, so I can get a better handle for how it feels when I can carry in this state soon :)
