Fastls199 Posted January 4, 2021 at 05:41 PM Posted January 4, 2021 at 05:41 PM I recently got an email with a link from the isp stating that my foid card was going to expire in 3 months (expires on 03/01/2021) and to click on the link to renew. It takes me to the Illinois firearm portal as it should. The problem is when I log in, it automatically takes me to a screen to apply for a new Foid/CCL. It doesnt give me the option to renew it or change the address or anything. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how to resolve it. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a picture of the screen that gets brought up directly after logging in.
NRApistol Posted January 4, 2021 at 05:44 PM Posted January 4, 2021 at 05:44 PM Welcome to the forumI suggest not using your phone and find a laptop or desk top computer and try again.
Bubbacs Posted January 4, 2021 at 06:24 PM Posted January 4, 2021 at 06:24 PM Do not use a phone or tablet. If it says you need to go to the ISP web site, use your web browser to get there on your own.You may be clicking on a different spoofed link, it happens. So bottom line is go directly to the ISP site on a PC web browser and use a google search or just type Illinois state police.Go there and then migrate to the firearms section. Good Luck and Welcome to the Forums
Fastls199 Posted January 4, 2021 at 09:21 PM Author Posted January 4, 2021 at 09:21 PM I tried going through the actual website on a desktop and it still brings me to the same page. It’s like it started the application process for me and there is no way to exit out of it. I may just have to call and see if I can actually get ahold of someone on the phone. Thanks for the suggestions and warm welcomes!
InterestedBystander Posted January 4, 2021 at 10:52 PM Posted January 4, 2021 at 10:52 PM With the site revamp, it is supposed to be useable on mobile devices. I received the USPS letter but no e-mail, and logged into the ispfsb site on my tablet finding the renew button was available at 90 days (is/was your renew button active?). Went through steps and am under review. However I did receive an e-mail confirming submission of renewal. https://www.ispfsb.com/Public/Login.aspx SYSTEM ALERTIf you are having trouble with the website, follow these steps: -Log out and clear your browser Internet cache. Fastls199 Posted January 4, 2021 at 11:59 PM Author Posted January 4, 2021 at 11:59 PM Try and reregister with a different email I will try that. I wasn’t sure if that would throw up red flags using all the same info with a different email. Thanks!
Fastls199 Posted January 5, 2021 at 12:23 AM Author Posted January 5, 2021 at 12:23 AM Created an account via a new email and got sent to the same exact screen as I was before. I’ll call again tomorrow and hope to talk to someone. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

As mentioned, you may be hung up in the system somewhere requiring a customer service person to attempt a fix... SYSTEM ALERT...(1) If you don't see the "renew" button on your dashboard, your card is not yet eligible to renew...
