mauserme Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:22 PM Author Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:22 PM In regard to HB4290, Rep Will Davis wonders if the bill goes far enough. Rep Sulivan states that it is a good first baby step. That "like the rest of the FCCA, we will do more."
mauserme Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:24 PM Author Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:24 PM Mr. Davis asks Mr. Sullivan to pull the bill and fix it (ie make it more severe than introduced) Mr. Sullivan would rather take a vote.
mauserme Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:27 PM Author Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:27 PM Mr. Davis believes a Class A Misdemeanor is not a high enough penalty.
mauserme Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:31 PM Author Posted March 27, 2014 at 06:31 PM Representative Reboletti states that, in discussion, they considered a Class 4 Felony as the appropriate penalty. He calls the single penalty, a Class A, as an appropriate first step in a sentence structure. He also mentions action might be included later to include applicants.
