Note: Williamson County has a three member commission, currently 2 Republican and one Democrat. They have no plans for a vote by themselves on a resolution, they are going straight to a ballot referendum in November.

Note to Mr. Madison County doofus, our country was founded as a Constitutional REPUBLIC, not a 'representative Democracy.' Here's a quick civics test: How many times, total, is the term "democracy" mentioned in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution?

 

Answer: ZERO.

 

The man should READ the Constitution before he tries to tell us what's in it and how it affects us. :/

Yeah, I'm really getting sick of liberals constantly calling our country a "democracy". Not sure why that irks me so much. But they actually believe it is.
