Davey Posted November 14, 2017 at 11:03 PM Posted November 14, 2017 at 11:03 PM The oral arguments were held today in the lawsuit against Remington over the Sandy Hook shooting. Here is the video. https://ct-n.com/ctnplayer.asp?odID=14744
TRJ Posted November 15, 2017 at 12:50 AM Posted November 15, 2017 at 12:50 AM Well that's a stretch. The plaintiff seems to think he doesn't need to meet the requirements of federal law to bring his case. Unfortunately the court seems willing to entertain this folly.
ragsbo Posted November 15, 2017 at 01:13 AM Posted November 15, 2017 at 01:13 AM I don't see this going anywhere. If they let it go through on guns, think of what else it would be used against!
skinnyb82 Posted November 15, 2017 at 02:37 AM Posted November 15, 2017 at 02:37 AM Why was this case not removed to federal court where it belongs? Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk

I got a few pages in and had to stop because I was getting angry. So it was tailored to keep it in state court by using some Connecticut law that deals with commerce. And I take it there's no pleadings of violating federal statute so as to remove the ability to...remove it to federal court. Congress needs to amend the statute to give exclusive jurisdiction on issues involving interstate commerce involving firearms to the federal court system. This end-around the PLCAA is complete BS and blatant. Pfft yeah right Congress, specifically the Senate, getting anything done is like expecting to resign because he's a corrupt politician.
