I have created a 180 day calendar countdown... This can be used on any website, that you can add or manipulate the HTML for.

To see said clock, CLICK HERE

To add this to a website, or anywhere else that you can control (at least some of the) HTML, insert this line:

<iframe src="http://free.timeanddate.com/countdown/i3eswmk5/n64/cf111/cm0/cu5/ct5/cs0/ca0/cr0/ss1/cac00f/cpc000/pcf00/tcf00/fs200/szw576/szh243/tatThe%20Conceal%20Carry%20Cliff%3A/tac000/tptFell%20off%20the%20CC%20cliff%2C%20been%20down%20here%3A/tpc000/matIllinois/mac000/mpc000/iso2013-06-09T12:00:00" frameborder="0" width="576" height="243"></iframe>

~Also, perhaps someone (authoritative) from IC can add this somewhere to be displayed (instead of having to click the link) :)

Thanks BShawn - its exciting and the clock is definitely counting down in my head :D

As the dust settles a bit, we'll take a look at putting a counter on the site. No promises right now, but I personally like the idea.

I'm not sure what precise time the opinion was released, so to be honest it's not 100% accurate (to when the opinion itself was released anyway). Rather, when I heard of the news and made the timer. So the time it will reach 0 is:

Sunday, June 09, 2013 12:00:00 CST

or

Sunday, June 09, 2013 18:00:00 UTC/GMT

After work I'm counting 180 bullets (from my reloading supplies) putting them in a jar and slowly moving them to another jar day by day.

:o I LOVE the idea, can I use it too? :D

Chicago? What about Illinois??

I did revisit this matter again, and actually was able to figure out how I could resolve it. At this point I just wish I could edit my first post as to replace it with this new one, but, nonetheless here is a corrected version :D

and updated HTML:

Are they 180 grain?

I tried to embed this as my avatar, no dice.

Yea, HTML is not allowed on most any 'forum' in any way because of the (obvious) security risks it poses...

It's not a "Concealed Carry Cliff"

If we really do go "over the cliff" people will be able to carry shotguns slung over their shoulder, samurai swords, six guns on their waist, tonfas, night sticks, billy clubs, rifles, sword canes - you name it.

Nice Tec-9 :)

it is too wide for my blog.

You can always edit/create one here: http://www.timeandda...ecountdown.html (if you opt to edit my existing one [to keep the same coundown end time] just paste this info where it 'calls for it'

I just happened to name it that because of the name of the first thread where I saw somebody asking for a timer. Initially the site I used to create the timer detected my location, and put "Chicago" as the location, until I went in and manually changed it to say "Illinois" :)

Thank you, my tec-9 holds a high sentimental value to me. I don't know if you can tell what is on my t-shirt in that small of a photo, but it's one of my favorites too. On it is: the statue of liberty riding a motorcycle and it has "RIDE ON FREEDOM" printed on it. That and of course my holstered P89. Just don't ask me to pick any one over the other ;)
