Rieger Posted January 8, 2022 at 03:12 AM Posted January 8, 2022 at 03:12 AM Anyone know of reputable local gunsmith doing slide milling for red dot sights? I am in DuPage county and would like to get my p365 slide milled to accept a sig Romeo zero red dot I purchased. Any help with contact info is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Rieger Posted January 8, 2022 at 04:00 PM Author Posted January 8, 2022 at 04:00 PM Thanks for the responses thus far. I would prefer to have my current slide milled and not have to buy another slide. It seems having current slide milled is likely to be quite a bit more affordable financially speaking.
soundguy Posted January 8, 2022 at 06:43 PM Posted January 8, 2022 at 06:43 PM Buy the new slide from Sig for $300 and sell the old one on GunBroker for <$250... I would keep both, 'cause ya never know! I once was looking for a Sig P938 slide/barrel to go with my P938-22. One came up for sale and I withdrew from bidding before it sold for far more than it was worth. Sometimes a seller gets lucky. I keep a couple spare High Power slides 'cause it's my favorite and ya never know when a pistol with a damaged slide will turn up for cheap. And it's fun to mix them up sometimes.
