FOID Number Validation for Ammunition and Person to Person Transfers- "New" ISP Web Page

The ISP is now publicizing a web page to validate "FOID Numbers". Per the web page (https://verify.ispfsb.com/Public/Verify.aspx):

"This system is for the sole purpose of determining the validity of a FOID card in compliance with the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act (“FOID Act”), 430 ILCS 65/1 et seq. for private firearm and ammunition transfers."

What this page will allow an individual (or business) to do, is to enter in the FOID ID (and a birthdate) and this will determine if the FOID card is valid. So for people with the "new" FOID card (without an expiration date), an individual can now validate the FOID number.  With this web page, now instead of the "old process" of just viewing the FOID card for a valid date, a person selling ammunition must now look up the FOID number on the ISP web site.

I am not sure if this process is in complete alignment with Director Kelly stated goal - "Our goal has been and continues to be to make sure it is easier for the good guys and hard for the bad guys and we're making progress towards that mission,"

It will do exactly what Kelly and his puppet masters want,   make it harder for people to buy ammo. They can't get the guns outlawed so the next best thing is to make the guns paper weights since you can't buy ammo! Their ultimate goal is to have everyone but their minons without guns/ammo.

Well, if he counts US as "bad guys," he's definitely making progress!
