cherry valley mall if this makes anymore sense, figured it was the only mall left in north central Illinois 🤣

Was visiting a local mall in the north most central area the other day that I mostly avoid due to these signs, but only go if I absolutely had too. Disarmed to enter and i noticed they didn't have the required IL sign or even policy signs (which can be ignored legally) up about firearms prohibited. I walked around inside to the other entrances to see if that one fell off and noticed they all lacked the same signage. My guess is since the mall was dying from people avoiding the mall that had gang activity the last 2 years. with the the signs not allowing you to go armed, it swayed some people from going. Also a good chance to sue for liability since they was no police presence to be found and only security that wasn't armed. They did increase police presence, saw 2 officers while walking, but felt good that maybe business's are starting to wake up and find out Law abiding people aren't the problem. I am aware that most insurance companies force business's to put these signs up, but maybe too they are realizing that it could be less impactful on them.

If it hasn't been mentioned, would love that the "open carry" bans be taken away, id prefer when i go on a walk or a hike (if "ccl free zones" go away from alot of common places) to have it out and ready if need be. heck even if i need to change my shirt in a parking lot, could be considered "open carry" depending on the asshole cop. Not that i want to open carry all the time, theirs a time and place and honestly, its stupid to keep it banned if i can go across all borders and open carry.

I've seen the ar-15 sticker in the shape of the state of illinois a few times, where am i able to buy one these?

so your average shop keeper or gas station attendant can't be protected trying to provide for himself or his family if he can't carry himself?

Provides that a person is not justified in the use of force against another if the person is a convicted felon. Defines "streetgang member" and "gang member". I can almost read this as a gangbanger is a protected class and is allowed to rob and shoot you without penalties...

"HB2926 Concealed Carry – Signs Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Firearm Concealed Carry Act. Deletes a provision requiring a sign to be clearly and conspicuously posted, at the entrance of a building, premises, or real property specified as a prohibited area, stating that the carrying of firearms is prohibited." LOL? this sounds like entrapment..

HB1429 Conceal Carry – Public Transport Isn't this already a law under the CCL act? And its in court attempting to get rid of it... They just want more tack on charges? and by a RINO?

when i got mine back in June, mine still says "indicator: CCL" I heard others have gotten ones that are fixed saying "CCL:YES" in the mail weeks later.. its been close to 6 months.. should i expect a fixed one?
