I'm in, but I have to be at my school from 10 am to 7:30 pm. Where will the meeting be held? I might be able to show up...however either way I want to be a part of this. Especially when we start any footwork.

all right so what happened in the meeting?

I don't have the time to post everything we do in the planning stages here on the forum. I'll give a brief overview and if you'd like to be involved, PM me with your email address and/or phone number and we can arrange to meet. We did settle on a date and time for the Madison County Right To Carry meeting.

It will be held on Thursday October 7th at the Collinsville VFW Post 5691 located at 1234 Vandalia Ave Collinsville, IL 62234 from approx 7pm - 9pm. I say approximately because doors will be open a bit earlier to allow folks to get a look at the silent auction items.

ooh silent auction, good idea!

Come bid on some Bowling Pins, or maybe a 2002 Winston Cup Race tire used by Dale Jr. at either The Brickyard or Pocono. Items are still being accumulated.

We had our second planning meeting on the 25th. A lot of hard work by the planning team has the town hall meeting preparations up and running fast. An impressive lineup of speakers (list to follow), cool silent auction items, and an opportunity to plan a strategy for obtaining RTC in Illinois. What more could you ask for? Even if you are not a Madison County resident; come out show your support. By the way, Illinois Carry will have a booth at the Belleville Gun Show 28 & 29 August. T-shirts, hats, and bumper stickers will be available.

Come early to view and bid on the silent auction items.

Schnitz, maybe you should attend the meeting and meet the lady before making such a statement! I believe you would find how totally wrong you are!!

Well, if nothing else, the Belleville News-Democrat is announcing the meeting in Collinsville tonight...

Ahhh, and the first comment added after the article - I must be a sexist, discriminatory, loudmouth if I want women to be able to protect themselves.

I wouldn't take the comment too seriously kiddo, not that you are, but obviously the guy has you confused with a number of female politicians, talking heads on television or Hollywood celebs who come to mind. How he could make that mistake I don't know but you're far more intelligent than the ones I'm thinking of.

He's just another anal orifice who doesn't have the sense to know what he needs to know before he bumps his gums. You're definitely good with the Ish
