QC_Verified is thought to be quality control verified i.e. all data required is present, complete, correct format, etc. It at least shows your application is moving along. Be patient. The elements IMO dont seem to be as consistent in progression and meaning as they did when applications first opened up.

The sub elements have not been published or documented by the ISP and were discovered by folks looking at code under the covers.

Once it goes active, is that when it is mailed out by the ISP? Mine went active on Tuesday 6/20, it is now Monday morning, I'll be hoping it's in the mail today.

Yes, but it does not typically go out immediately. Outgoing mail is usually assembled into batches to be sent out via postal service. Based upon volume and presorting by area iirc, this allows the sender to get a discount on mailing costs.

Near Springfield, it's going to most likely arrive sooner than if you are around Chicago or Carbondale.

The only thing that might give Chicago a time advantage is that the minimum number for presort mail is 500 pieces, which might be achieved fast to Chicago ZIP codes, due to the higher population per ZIP code than other places in the state. Don't really know if that makes enough difference, though.

I just went APPROVED under inspect element this morning!!!

I went APPROVED yesterday evening. I'll post as soon as it goes active. My guess is that will happen for both of us at the same time, as they probably process a batch job.

They seem to have activated a number of forum members today. Hopefully that means they also have a lot of licenses to print and mail — meaning that they can reach the bulk mail quantity immediately and not sit on mailing them too long.

I went active today also! I noticed the name/address change fee went up to $80.00. What crooks!

I thought it was $75 for CCL and $5 for FOID.

(d) A licensee requesting a new license in accordance with Section 55 shall submit $75, of which $60 shall be apportioned to the State Police Firearm Services Fund, $5 shall be apportioned to the Mental Health Reporting Fund, and $10 shall be apportioned to the State Crime Laboratory Fund.

I think the $80 comprises $75 for the CCL and $5 for FOID. If you change address, you have to get both changed, so there is one fee listed.
