Leadmaster Posted February 24, 2021 at 06:18 PM Share Posted February 24, 2021 at 06:18 PM Recently SBRd an SP5 and was now looking to do the same to a PS90. However I noticed the OAL was under the 26 limit that Ive heard ATF will deny you for. Is there a configuration that I can get approved? Such as using these spacers:http://damageindustriesllc.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2540 And this muzzle device:https://patriotfirearmsusa.com/product/cmmg-57da5be-fnh-p90-5.7mmx28mm-flash-hider-m12x1-lh-black-steel So that I can take the spacers off after getting the stamp but still have the form1 configuration to switch back to. Not sure of the above will get me to 26 though. Thanks!
IH8IL Posted February 24, 2021 at 06:41 PM Share Posted February 24, 2021 at 06:41 PM Ps90 is no go here. I think even with that flash hider, its under 20 inches and then those spacers are 4.
IH8IL Posted February 24, 2021 at 06:44 PM Share Posted February 24, 2021 at 06:44 PM To add to that, even in stock configuration, the ps90 is a little over 26 inches stock. 26.2 I think. So you’re going to have to add the same amount that you’re taking off.

Would it be legal to SBR it like that and then remove them once the stamp comes in? IIRC the 26” is an ATF CYA thing and Illinois law says only reenactors have to follow it. IH8IL Posted February 25, 2021 at 12:22 AM Share Posted February 25, 2021 at 12:22 AM Oal is because of IL, not federal.
Cerus Posted February 25, 2021 at 08:52 PM Share Posted February 25, 2021 at 08:52 PM If they follow IL law then the 26” does not apply to C&R holders. Whether they will or not is another story.
