  1. Half baked reply: there is a weight limit under which goods from China are shipped for free or around $1, not sure what the weight limit is. Shipping subsidized by the PRC, partly to flood markets with cheap goods and put our manufacturers out of business. Important to remember that China plays the loooong game, they are content to wait generations for their efforts to pay off - we tend to look at things in 4 year cycles.
  2. I get it. My moot point is that the law quoted above by ealcala31 reads like you'd only need a license to manufacture cartridge cases, primers, bullets or propellant powder. I'm guessing most reloaders buy these components (maybe modify the brass by cleaning, etc.) and assemble them into operational cartridges. Probably some do manufacture the bullets (ala Mel Gibson melting down his kid's action figures).
  3. Seems to me that reloading ammunition is just putting the parts described as 'ammunition' above into proper working order. Someone else manufactures the components.
  4. Thanks for posting. Seems like a bullet-proof argument to me.
  5. So ruling was narrow and case is a one-off, but can't it be cited as precedent like Bruen was supposed to be? I am obviously NAL.
  6. Dolton in the news. This guy and that Mayor! I don't spend a lot of time in our legal system so I'm not sure how one could rack up 160 counts of murder - he couldn't have killed 160 people.
  7. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It doesn't seem like that went very well for us.
  8. Phew! I knew about all of these already! Thanks for making that happen Molly (via this forum) and thanks for posting this.
  9. I'm going with the Benchmade Mini-barrage. Blade is pretty close to the legal length and am real happy with my Mini-griptilian. But does blade length limit change with this law too? The Mini-barrage isn't an auto knife fyi. It's a spring assisted opener that's perfectly legal in the state today. Great knife, but if you're looking for an auto, that's not one. Thanks man. I learn something new every day on this site. Back to the Benchmade site...
