Joyce Foundation funding of Media Matters ...

During 2010, for the very first time, Joyce Foundation gave a $400,000 grant to Media Matters for America, "to support a gun and public safety issue initiative."

I think they are just now beginning to see "bang" for their buck. I don't know if the Joyce Foundation was ever so directly tied to "culture war" politics. They have, in the past, at least tried to appear objective. They paid MM to make the connection between Beck and plots of violence, and then they paid Horwitz to make the connection between Beck, plots of violence, and the NRA. Wow. Elberding and the Joyce folks are really in the gutter, now.

It's great how they attempt to legitimize their screeds by referring to each other.

Some call that professional courtesy. Others call it a circle-jerk.

Yeah but they don't even have a creditable pivot man. :sorcerer:

Much like someone with multiple personality disorder becoming his own support group.

True. That's what anyone who knows these groups would call it. But unfortunately, the masses often don't have the knowledge to understand that, and consider crap like that credible.
