junglebob Posted February 3, 2006 at 03:34 PM Posted February 3, 2006 at 03:34 PM I was looking at information about Champaign County Rifle Associations Burma Shave type signs at gunssavelife.com. I know the idea has been mentioned before, it said their cost is $500 for a set of signs. I like the set CROOKS ARE MANY, COPS ARE FEW, CROOKS CARRY GUNS, WHY CAN'T YOU. That one could be changed to ALDERMAN CARRY GUNS, but that might be lost on way too many people. Maybe there could be a sign after CROOKS CARRY GUNS, saying ALDERMAN CARRY GUNS. Their site said they had 32 sets of signs, plus 2 portable signs and get 180 million viewings a year. I guess the average set gets about 5 million views a year. I'd donate toward it.
c-rock Posted February 3, 2006 at 05:22 PM Posted February 3, 2006 at 05:22 PM I am interested in doing something too. With these attacks each year on a sport I love to participate in, I am wanting to do more in stopping these attacks. c-rock
45superman Posted February 3, 2006 at 05:32 PM Posted February 3, 2006 at 05:32 PM I'd be interested, too. I do think that a sign about the aldermen would go over most folks' heads.
junglebob Posted February 4, 2006 at 03:17 PM Author Posted February 4, 2006 at 03:17 PM They might ask their friends "alderman aren't allowed to carry handguns are they?" They might get enlighted to what perks the elite among us have. It would probably be better to have it on a billboard probably. Maybe something like your alderman, mayor, and legislator can carry to protect themselves, why can't you? Is their life worth more than your family and yours? Promote "family" protection act. I think the next carry bill shoud be called the family protection act or personal and family protection act. Then we can say "IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN"
Johnnybgood Posted February 5, 2006 at 06:54 PM Posted February 5, 2006 at 06:54 PM Submitted to Gunssavelife.com as possible sign Citizens can't carrybut the elected elite canThink not?Ask your alderman

wolf1 Posted February 10, 2006 at 08:40 PM Posted February 10, 2006 at 08:40 PM i think it is a good idea to keep mentioning the alderman because believe it or not a lot of people do not know that alderman can carry. i have mentioned to a few people and they had know idea.
