Feel free to post any retailers who have shipped or willing to ship ammunition to addresses within the City of Chicago (zip code 606##). I'll continue to update the list below with the most current retailers mentioned. At the bottom of this post, I have also included legal rebuttal to typical reply's from vendors that give reasons for not shipping to Chicago. This references the possession and transportation of ammunition by a holder of a valid FOID card. This is a requirement by ammunition sellers that buyers will have to provide proof of a valid FOID. In the past, Chicago Municipal Code 8-20-100(b) by way of Chicago Ordinance SO2013-6015 [https://chicityclerkelms.chicago.gov/Matter/?matterId=C86D1C2B-E00D-ED11-82E3-001DD80693B4] read “No ammunition may be sold or otherwise transferred within the city, except through a licensed weapons dealer, or as otherwise allowed by this code.” CURRENTLY, the Chicago Municipal Code 8-20-100 has been amended as of June 25, 2014, and NO LONGER CONTAINS this language [https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/chicago/latest/chicago_il/0-0-0-2644532]. Does anyone know how to apply for FOID cards online for your children now? Remember back in March they put this out: When I log in - it takes me to my own summary page. I can renew my own FOID or CCL but there is no other option to request a FOID. I am wondering if each of my kids have to create an account on the ISP website?
