So who is planning to go to the Appleseed shoot on September 11-12, Patriots Day? This is the 300 person event at the Aurora Sportsmans Club in Waterman, IL. 300 shooters stretched out over 600 yards all learning the events leading up to the beginning of the Revolutionary War and learning about the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship.

I have been signed up for a month now for the Appleseed "300". It will be my 10th Appleseed Event. Going to try and shoot a perfect 250 this time with my scoped 10/22 Rifle and shoot a mid 220'S with my new CZ 452 Ultra Lux with open sights.

Bought a Sig 522 last year for the sole purpose of attending Appleseed shoots.

Lung condition is to the point where I can't.

Ahh, well. It's a great little .22!

I would still love to see you there Ol'Coach!

Thursday is the last chance to pre-reg for the event. The word is that walk-ons will NOT be accepted at this event. Also, current registration is over 250 riflemen (and women and kids).

What do you think the feelings will be about people coming to watch, I'm not going to be able to make it to shoot but it might be a sight to see and come take some pics of.

If you want to watch. You will have to sign the release so that the Range doesn't take liability. If you show up late, make sure you find a Red Hat or an Orange hat to get the release form.

I attended. This was my 2nd Appleseed. Still no Rifleman patch, as my 4th stage still needs work, but it was a great weekend and very entertaining. I am looking forward to checking out the pics and video.
