cypress72 Posted February 15, 2009 at 07:28 PM Posted February 15, 2009 at 07:28 PM I just completed my Utah concealed carry class in St. Louis last week. The instructor said to get my fingerprint card at the local sheriff's office. Well, I visited the local sheriff's office, city police, state police office in Pulaski County and none of the forms were available. The local sheriff's office said they would fingerprint me - if I had the blue and white card. Searched the internet and I was able to print out a paper copy of Fd-258, but I think Utah would only accept the form on card stock. Any suggestions on where I could obtain the card and get fingerprinted at the same time - close to or south of Route 13? Would like to get my ccw application in the mail asap.
Silver Guardian Posted February 15, 2009 at 07:54 PM Posted February 15, 2009 at 07:54 PM I got the fingerprint cardstock in an application packet from Florida. Around here some of sheriff's will do fingerprinting. Try calling more police agencies in the area.
cypress72 Posted February 16, 2009 at 05:48 PM Author Posted February 16, 2009 at 05:48 PM Thanks Silver, checked out the Florida application process for a card - decided to apply for a Florida permit too. However, just returned home from Paducah KY. Got the blue and white fingerprint card and fingerprinted for $3.00 at the city police station. My Utah application will be in the mail in the morning.
