Ocellairs Posted October 14, 2005 at 03:18 AM Author Posted October 14, 2005 at 03:18 AM Found the answer...for those who are interested. For those who aren't, well go back to doing what you was doing, before you decide to do some like click on this post! ...don't ask me why, but I'm full of it tonight! Anyways! Too Little Trigger Finger means: Too little trigger finger is when you don't squeeze the trigger straight back because you have your finger contacting the trigger slightly to the right front [for a right handed shooter] instead of parallel to the trigger face. The result is a slight increase in the pressure you apply to the right side of the trigger, pushing the frame slightly left.
anonymous too Posted October 14, 2005 at 06:14 AM Posted October 14, 2005 at 06:14 AM Asked an expert your question Superman and this is what he said: Hi, Kent -- Since they can't dig their feet in and "get their whole body into it," I show wheelchair-bound students the advantages of the Classic Weaver position from the waist up. With both elbows bent and the isometric push-pull absorbing recoil between gun and torso, it's the one stance that allows effective performance wi th the shoulders back, which is the situation for the wheelchair bound. best, mas
45superman Posted October 14, 2005 at 06:22 AM Posted October 14, 2005 at 06:22 AM That makes a great deal of sense. Once again, I'm very grateful.
45superman Posted October 15, 2005 at 03:32 PM Posted October 15, 2005 at 03:32 PM Hey, Kent--I just noticed the signature on the note from the expert with whom you cosulted. Is "mas" THE Mas (Massad Ayoob)?
anonymous too Posted October 16, 2005 at 01:08 AM Posted October 16, 2005 at 01:08 AM Yep. That's who I asked.
45superman Posted October 16, 2005 at 02:34 AM Posted October 16, 2005 at 02:34 AM Wow! No one has ever asked anyone famous anything on my account before. That's pretty cool . Thanks again!
Ocellairs Posted October 16, 2005 at 02:48 AM Author Posted October 16, 2005 at 02:48 AM The book that he wrote on SIG's is very interesting and has helped my shooting by 80%. I've also got one of his other books on self-defense or something....of which I've only glanced at a few times and of which I need to fully read.
