I can't work up a lot of sympathy - there were rights given away that were not in her legitimate power to give.

RIP, I said before and I'll say it again, she should have retired years ago and enjoyed retirement.

 

Nightmare scenario, senate flips, dems keep the house, election results are contested, Nancy become interim president and they slam through the most liberal anti-gun justice willing to take the job...

 

If something like that was to happen there is enough time after the election and before the new rounds of elected officials take office to replace her, sure there will be a TON of complaining and probably lawsuits but there is nothing legally or Constitutinally stopping Trump and the GOP Senate from replacing her in the period between election day and inauguration.

 

BTW my social media feed is on fire, the Liberals are in full on panic mode, it's as if they are not confident in their nomination/candidate   :getlost:

Congress adds 2 or more seats to the court, probably 4 just for extra padding, and Biden appoints more SCOTUS Justices than Trump did.
