First, I am surprised you haven't received other responses. Maybe not many members subscribe to the Gear section.. I'm not sure how it compares, I am not a Glock fan personally. I know Glocks are dependable but I just don't like the boxy look to them, so I don't own any. Sorry! My previous CCL gun was a Kimber Commander size 1911 but I wanted more capacity. I can tell you it just feels right for me. The trigger reset on the P365XL is excellent. I seriously doubt I will ever deviate to another carry firearm.

I've shot my son's EDC basic 365 - and it is a true gem. EZ to conceal. nice capacity, accurate as all get-out, a little pricey but the quality shows IMHO.

We live in wonderful times when it comes to handgun choices. Since Glock sorta started the polymer revolution decades ago, a number of companies are turning out very fine pistols in all price ranges. Time was when your only choice in economy handguns was either HiPoint or Saturday Night Special garbage. Not any more.

I believe you should always carry the largest (within limits) handgun you can comfortably conceal. The 365XL is the perfect carry size for me.
