mauserme Posted January 30, 2021 at 02:49 AM Share Posted January 30, 2021 at 02:49 AM I know there is a lot of talk on gun forums about this bill right now, but I'd advise a wait and see approach. Bills like HR127 are filed pretty often. This particular bill has zero co-sponsors.

And once again (not that it should surprise anyone here) the propose law would not have prevented anything. The shooter in this case stole his fathers legally owned firearms a 870 shotgun and .38 Rossi revolver, just a guess but .38 and shotgun shells are not on their "current" ban list of ammunition and pump shotguns and small caliber revolvers are not on their "current" firearm bans. So once again the Democrats stand in blood to promote their anti-gun agenda that does nothing to address or prevent the blood they stand in. They once again skip the part where he was apparently bullied not only by students but by staff of the school, and was known to be a "little off" and that was all ignored until he snapped. 2A4Cook Posted January 30, 2021 at 03:06 PM Share Posted January 30, 2021 at 03:06 PM Under this bill, the entire family would have had to undergone a psych eval before giving daddy a license to own the guns he already owned. I kid you not -- read it! I bet this gets dumped into committee to await DC statehood, elimination of the filibuster and packing of SCOTUS before they bring it up for a vote. This is their dream bill, and they're not in a mood to "compromise" one bit of their wish llist.

It shines a bright light on what's going on down there with the flood of Lefties moving into the Lone Star State.

Sheila Jackson Lee (D TX) is serving her 14th term in Congress. I'm going to speculate that after 14 terms, she isn't going anywhere prior to retirement. The bill was filed 1/04/21. As of this morning, it still has no co-sponsors.
Rangerdeepv Posted February 6, 2021 at 02:50 PM Share Posted February 6, 2021 at 02:50 PM This ding-a-ling is from Texas? Serving her 12th term? What is wrong with this picture? Cerus Posted February 7, 2021 at 12:50 AM Share Posted February 7, 2021 at 12:50 AM She’s the same idiot that went on TV saying the AR15 she held was “as heavy as 10 boxes you might be moving” and “fires .50 caliber bullets.” Missing a few brain cells just like all the other democrats.
