I will be asking for a $10 donation per person for upkeep on the range and I will forward some of the money to Blaster to help pay for the costs involved with this site. I know it is only a two week notice but what the heck lets give it a shot. I need it!!!Grandson #2 has a birthday party that day and we'll be in the St Louis area for the weekend.If I miss it I'll be in deep trouble.I've been collecting targets and bowling pins just for this. This family stuff needs to be more flexible.

boog Posted March 22, 2009 at 10:39 PM Posted March 22, 2009 at 10:39 PM can't make it, teaching at gander mountain-geneva that weekend. i was really looking forward to my first group shoot. but i am going down to marion this coming weekend, and taking my new ar with 1000 rounds, my deer gun with 50 rounds, my 9mm sig with 400 rounds, my 40 cal sig with 400 rounds, my dads browning auto-5 with 200 rounds, also ruger 10-22 with 500 rounds, and 2 baretta neos with 500 rounds. hopefully we will be better shots after all that.

I picked up a slightly used Charles Daly at Christmas time and I'm itching to try it out. I'll have to check my schedule tomorrow to see if I'm off on the 4th, if so I would love to bring it out and try it if thats ok.

Everyone is invited you can bring your friends too if you want all I ask is that you put yourself and any friends on the guest list. The reason for the guest list is so we know how many people will be there so we can get the right amount of supplies for lunch. Everyone chips in and gets something for the whole group. That is what the supply list is so we know who is bringing what. If you make a mean cole slaw or something and want to bring it go ahead it won't hurt anyone's feelings. It is kind of like grade school if you are bringing a filet mignon for yourself you had better bring enough to share with everyone. In the past it was almost a free for all with weapons, I don't know how it will be this year with ammo prices but I can't imagine people being too stingy. If you have never shot a tommy gun and you want to you ask the guy that has it & I have never heard a guy at one of the shoots say no. So even if you just have a .22 revolver cmon out you will have fun. It has been a safe event in the past and I would like to keep it that way. We are not your typical range, but we do like safety!!The only rule we have at the range is don't shoot anyone!!!! If you have anything you want to shoot up go ahead & bring it (No Glass Please) If you bring it to shoot you may have to share but you have to take it with you when you leave.
