He was born in 1949 and ordained in 1975. I personally can't stand the guy but think allegations of this sort coming more than 3 decades late are rather suspect. It's not as if the mope has been hiding away from public scrutiny since he took over the parish in 1981.

This is the 5th allegation. I’d support the idea that one allegation could be suspect, but knowing the history of Chicago intimately there may be a potential of validity to the claims. Since this goes back 20-30 years ago we need to remember the prevalent political relationship of the church and city government back then. But, I’ll grant Pfleger the one thing he fails to give others. The benefit of doubt.
