IL FOID Revoked, appealed, granted relief!

Good morning, last year I was living in Illinois and had my FOID revoked for a 2009 cont substance conviction (class 4 felony). I appealed in April 2026, yesterday I was granted relief. The entire process from receiving the revocation letter from ISP to getting the order granting relief took about 5 months. My situation now is that I no longer live in Illinois and am wanting to square this with the federal government. Anyone who has knowledge of how to do this and can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I have a lawyer, it’s not a mistake that the ISP granted me relief they know I am a Florida Resident. As always I appreciate the advice you guys can provide. God bless.
